It's a book

The Jake Hanna book makes for some very entertaining reading, even for the author, who's read it regularly for the last two years!

And the reviews are coming in already. I'll post them soon.

Bookshelves await the arrival of Jake!

The Mayerson-Hart bookshelf is making room for the arrival of the Jake Hanna book.

Let's see, alphabetically by author's last name--the preferred method of arranging for reference librarians--means Jake will sit between James Joyce and Carl Jung. And the Riverside Shakespeare nearby, too. August neighbors indeed!

The book shipped from the printer a few days ago and should be arriving in bookstores at the end of next week or beginning of the following week.

I can't wait to see it myself.

Joe Lovano is looking forward to the book!

Nice to see--and hear--Joe Lovano at Scullers last night. A contributor to the book, FoJ (Friend of Jake) and fellow Berklee alum, he's looking forward to getting his copy sometime in the next 10 days.

What brother?

Even Jake is not immune from Nigerian prince--or in this case Malaysian banker--scam/spam. I'm sure he'd be surprised to find out from this email that he had a brother with all that money, or that all members of his family perished in the tsunami disaster.
